Dr. Andrew Chen

Dr Chen was born in Jamaica.  He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1998. He trained extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and in the co-management of cataract surgery and Lasik. Dr Chen specializes in difficult contact lens fittings. He worked in private practice in South Miami for the past 14 years and worked with a multi-specialty practice for over 8 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association and the Miami Dade Optometric Physicians Association.

He proudly opened Eye-N-Eye Vision Center in 2011 with an experienced team committed to offering excellent family eyecare in South Dade.

Dr. Jessica Hayward

Dr Hayward was born in Colombia.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at Florida International University.  Dr Hayward later attended Nova Southeastern University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science while earning her Doctor of Optometry degree.  She has worked in collaboration with ophthalmologists co-managing patients for a number of years providing her with valuable clinical experience.  Dr Hayward’s clinical training includes ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, and general optometry.  She is a member of the American Optometric Association, AOA Contact Lens & Cornea section, Florida Optometric Association, and the Miami Dade Optometric Physicians Association.
